這原本是今年年初的一篇舊作，介紹的是吳昇老師的新計畫。但剛好最近詹宏志先生又在媒體上暢談Web 3.0的話題，所以我就做了一個簡單的整理，讓兩位大師級人物一起發聲……
我（詹宏志）認為3.0的時代，可能發生的是搜尋力量的強化，以及形態的改變。我拿雅虎和Google做比較，來說明搜尋功能對使用者的重要性：雅虎像是個百貨公司，做了各式各樣網路上最普及的服務，但它的規模比Google這種單純做搜尋的公司還小。
說到搜尋力量的強化，現在看似Google和Yahoo!兩強爭霸的年代。不知道還有多少人記得Inktomi、網擎資訊和龍捲風科技這幾家當年叱吒風雲的搜尋服務公司？雖然這些公司有的被併購（Inktomi被Yahoo!併購），有些調整業務方向，但他們以往的貢獻不容被忽視。
雖然現在已經有了Google和雅虎奇摩知識+，但搜尋力量的強化，我想大方向應該還是正確的，也是值得相關業界去努力和探索的。
